Howmet Fastening Systems and our web site partner, Stella Seven, are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you have any suggestions or comments please email [email protected]. Stella Seven is an authorised distributor of Howmet ’s Recoil® brand of products.

Making a purchase:

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on View basket and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

When confirmation of order is received, it indicates that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, with a confirmation email after payment has been received. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Stella Seven on behalf of Howmet accepts credit/debit card and PayPal payment through recognised online merchant trader SecureTrading. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

Credit card security:

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Pricing information:

All prices quoted are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20% unless stated otherwise. Delivery of goods will be by Royal Mail and will incur a charge for postage and packaging based on weight. This is calculated and indicated to you at the point of order.

Acceptance:

No binding contract shall be deemed to have been affected by the acceptance on the part of the buyer to a quotation or offer made by the seller, until such contract shall have been confirmed in writing (email confirmation) by the seller.

Delivery schedule:

We will normally send your order to you in 2-3 business days. No guarantee or warranty as to the rate of delivery or time of delivery is given or implied. Deliveries may be wholly or partially suspended and the time of such suspension added to the original contract in the event of stoppage, delay or interruption of work in the establishment of either seller or buyer during the delivery period as a result of strikes, lockouts, trade disputes, breakdown or any cause whatsoever beyond the control of the seller or buyer respectively.

Back orders:

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

What to do with faulty items:

You have a maximum of 72 hours to report an item's fault: it is important that you check over your item once you have received it (even if you are not going to use the product straight away). Any faults reported after a 72 hour period will not be refundable. To report a faulty item compete the form on the Contact us page.

Guarantee, complaints procedure and warranty: If you are not totally satisfied you can write a formal complaint to the following address: Stella Seven, 78 White Hart, Reabrook, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY3 7TE, marking the letter ‘complaint Recoil Web shop’. Stella Seven aims to respond to your complaint and have it resolved within 14 working days.

Except as herein provided all warranties and conditions, whether expressed or implied and whether by statute or common law as to quality or fitness for any purposes are excluded.

Returns policy:

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund within seven working days after the date of delivery. The consumer will be responsible for the return postage costs. To cancel your order, please email please email [email protected]. Alternatively you can write to us at Recoil Product Management, Howmet, Stafford Park 7, Telford, Shropshire, TF1 6PQ.

In addition goods found, within six months of delivery date to be defective or not in accordance with specification will be replaced free of charge, at the place of the original delivery, if, but only if:

Immediate notification is given of finding or suspicion or defect or deviation from specification and facilities are given for access to inspection, investigation and testing of the suspect goods. But this warranty does not imply to, and no responsibility is accepted for goods which have suffered or have been subjected to undue wear and tear, accident, misuse, improper application, modification, neglect or overloading: and in no circumstances shall the Seller be liable for loss or damage of any kind directly caused by or arising from goods supplied, or form any accident or injury to personnel or damage to property howsoever arising from or in the process of using such goods.

Privacy policy: Neither Stella Seven or Howmet Fastening Systems disclose buyers' information to third parties. Neither Stella Seven or Howmet Fastening Systems does not use cookies on its website. Data collected by this site is used to: a. Take and fulfil customer orders b. Administer and enhance the site and service c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes. d. If agreed by the seller, used to send newsletters and product offers by Stella Seven or Howmet Fastening Systems from time to time.

Force Majeure:

The acceptance of any order may be revoked (in whole part) or delivery dates postponed by the seller without liability in the event of any contingency beyond the seller’s control which does, or in the Seller’s opinion is likely to prevent, hinder, delay, interrupt or interfere with the fulfilment of the order or any part thereof.

Indemnity:

The buyer will indemnify the seller against all damages, penalties, costs and expenses to which the seller may become liable as a result of work done in accordance with the buyer’s specification which involves infringement of any letters patent or registered design.

Legal construction:

These conditions and any contract between seller and buyer shall be constructed and operate in all aspects as a contract made in England and in conformity with English law.

Arbitration:

Any dispute under this contract shall be referred to an arbitrator or Arbitrators to be appointed by the parties or in default or agreement by the President of the Law Society for the time being, and his or her decision shall be binding on both parties, and this shall be a submission to arbitration within the Arbitration Act of 1950, of any modification thereof for the time being in force.

Title to goods:

On delivery title to the goods will not pass from Stella Seven until full payment of the covering invoice has been received.

Special offers:

5% discount (either from subscribing to our newsletter or leaving a review) is only applicable to orders £35/€35 and over (excluding VAT and shipping)

Free delivery only applies to orders £45 and over (excluding VAT and shipping) and for UK orders only.
